Birds … I used to paint birds often, but haven’t done for a long time now. Last week I was walking and saw lots of birds hopping in and out of the bramble bushes, and they looked so happy and free. So when I got home I painted this little guy. He’s a Brambling bird. Bramblings spend the Summer in Scandinavia and Russia, then come here to the UK for the Winter.
