Meet Juniper, our newest great-horned owl Ambassador! 🦉 🔊 You might notice Juniper making some, uh, unusual sounds in this video. Because she's an imprint, she never learned to make adult great-horned owl sounds. She may have picked up these grunts from other bird species (like vultures) during her time at Sea Biscuit Wildlife Shelter.
