What do you do when your clay pieces dry too quickly and crack in the bottom? Don’t put them in the kiln! If they’re still raw clay, you can break them and add them to your reclaim bucket. When the bucket is full, all you need to do is add water and use a paint mixer to get all the bits of leftover clay to the same consistency. Then it’s just a matter of spreading the reclaimed clay onto plaster bats to dry to the right consistency for wheel throwing or hand building! Plus, it’s super satisfying
