Tuning the mast fit. This is literally the only way I know how to do it accurately. The sanding block is exactly the size and shape of the mast minus the thickness of the sandpaper. I’ve got 80 grit spray glued onto one end and 150 grit on the other. It’s a pretty small sail and the mast is fairly tough wood so I’m not too worried about adding leather for protection.
