Gorilla is the general name for great apes. Divided into two species - "East African Gorilla" and "West African Gorilla". It is the largest species of all existing primates, with a shoulder height of about 0.85 meters in a quadrupedal state and a height of 1.6-1.8 meters when standing. An upright gorilla can reach a height of 1.75 meters. Because the gorilla's knees cannot really straighten, its actual body length is longer than this height. Males are larger than females.
