Diablo was about story, trading, grinding for gear, and PvP. D3 killed the PvP, and unfortunately, because PvE players cry all the time, it might be canceled in D4 too. What a waste of a franchise.

2022年8月3日 · Not really tbh. I am an absolute slut for Diablo-clones and there’s not a lot on the horizon for this year. The next big things are basically Path of Exile 2 (which is basically just an update rather than a whole new game), Last Epoch, and Diablo 4, none of which will fully release before 2023 unless something really surprising happens.

2023年7月23日 · The only thing I foresee is some balancing and new runewords. Maybe more endgame stuff. But not a new act or anything. The only way you can do a new act is you absolutely have to make it outside the Diablo story. Because the game has a self contained story and you can retcon anything or mess with it.

There is also the chance that this new class would be fucking awesome and insanly strong/fun, in which case im sure none of us would be complaining. Also, d4 is way bigger than any other diablo game in terms of player base, which means a lot of new people is playing the game, so i don't think their priority is so satisfy old "og" fans.

The vaults were great, the stuff out in the open world was fine (felt like slightly less to do than the season 2 ones but you still had the infinite summoning area and the whispers in the active zones, it just didn't have the smaller summoning things that called the bloodseekers) but the vaults being better than nightmare dungeons was a huge plus ...
