How to fix W11 weather widget detecting wrong location?
2023年11月24日 · Recently, the weather widget has started to display the weather from the wrong location. It appears it thinks I am located in Athens Texas, when I am atually located in Seminole, FL. I tried to delete the Athens TX location in the weather widget, but it says it cannot be removed and that TX is my detected location (WRONG!).

2015年10月19日 · Until a day or two ago, when I wanted to check the immediate weather forecast I clicked on the Microsoft Start icon and then clicked on the Weather tile, which enlarged to screen size, so that I could see the day by day or hour by hour readings, add other places (in addition to my 'home' place) etc.

However, this is not going to actively show you the temperature as this is the app you are pinning to the taskbar. You can only get that temperature update on the Widget. Hello, I have the latest version of the Microsoft weather app on windows 10 and the location is showing the wrong location when set to detect my location. location is enabled in-app settings, privacy settings, and the icon that shows location is being used on the taskbar is active. Google maps on Microsoft edge can detect the correct location.
