第卅九屆「生達盃全國桌球錦標賽」十三日起一連三天於臺南市新營體育館熱鬧開打，今年全國共二百九十隊一九四一名桌球選手參賽，市長黃偉哲牽手劉育菁、體育局長陳良乾、新營區長翁振祥、議員蔡育輝、沈家鳳、王宣貿、李宗翰與生達製藥董事長范滋庭共同主持開球儀式；首日賽程為國小女童中年級及高年級組競技；第二天為國小男童中、高年級組及社會活力組；第三天為社會男子、女子團體組及個人全能組冠軍。
