Google Duo is a simple video chat app that works on both iPhone and Android devices. Introduced by Google in 2016, it is one of several chat and video apps offered by the search company.

Introduced in 2016 to compete with FaceTime and WhatsApp, Google Duo was replaced with Google Meet in 2022. Duo was noted for its simplicity and automatic switching between cellular and Wi-Fi.
